Sacred Reflections: A Stunning Tribute to Sedona’s Cathedral Rock

Cathedral Rock in Sedona, Arizona, is the single most photographed place in the state—and for good reason. The natural beauty of this awe-inspiring landmark draws photographers, adventurers, and artists from all over the world. From its majestic spires to its mystical energy, Cathedral Rock has been a muse for many. As an artist who finds inspiration in Sedona’s landscapes, I’ve had the privilege of capturing this iconic location in many ways. One of the most captivating pieces in my collection is Sacred Reflections, which I’m offering at an exclusive 50% off until sold.

The Essence of Sacred Reflections

Sacred Reflections sits on the banks of Oak Creek, capturing the serene beauty of Cathedral Rock’s towering spires as they reflect off the calm waters. The glowing skies in the background enhance the peaceful, mystical atmosphere that Sedona is known for. As one of the most beloved pieces in my collection, Sacred Reflections was created as part of a series of paintings inspired by Cathedral Rock, and it holds a special place in my heart.

This original acrylic on canvas is the third in a series of 14 works inspired by the famed Cathedral Rock. The first was Creekside Cathedral, which I was fortunate enough to license to Warner Bros. for their media series Snatchers in 2016. Then came Sedona’s Cathedral Rock, inspired by a photograph taken by some friends I met at the Spirit Room in Jerome—an experience I’ll always treasure. But Sacred Reflections was created during a workshop with the talented and famous painter and art teacher Claudia Hartley, whose guidance has helped me develop my unique approach to capturing the beauty of Sedona’s landscapes.

The natural beauty of Cathedral Rock, reflected on Oak Creek, is a truly magical scene, one that I wanted to convey in a way that evokes peace, tranquility, and the spiritual energy that flows through Sedona. As an artist, I’ve always sought to capture more than just the physical landscape; I aim to paint the soul of the land itself, and Sacred Reflections is one of my finest attempts at doing just that.
