If there was a sixth star Clark would have earned it. My wife and I, while on vacation to Sedona, came across one of Clark’s pieces (Fire in the Sky) and realized we had to have it. We ordered the piece on metal, and oh heavens, what a stunning piece. We placed it in our master suite, and I am ecstatic each morning I wake up and get to see it!!

What’s more, while in Sedona, Clark honored us with having coffee and chatting, and I must say it makes his art even more special as he is a great human being (and an extraordinary artist). We are now hooked, and I just ordered Mystical Desert Journey as our first piece of art needs a friend. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I cannot wait for years of collecting Clark’s artwork (and the start of a friendship)!!

We’ve been looking for years for you! Your style, use of color, and YOU made this such a wonderful experience. Thank you! And as I find more wall space, I’m not yet done collecting your wonderful Southwest Landscapes!

I have a couple of Clark’s pieces in my home. He creates some of the most beautiful and colorful artwork I’ve seen. Every piece is full of life—bold, vibrant, and totally mesmerizing. The way the colors blend and pop feels effortless, yet so powerful.

There’s something truly uplifting about his work. It’s not just nice to look at—it makes you feel something. Whether it’s joy, calm, or just a sense of wonder, his art certainly makes a wonderful impression.

Simply put, Clark’s work is stunning.

A True Gem – Veteran, Artist, and Kind Soul

Clark is the kind of person who leaves a lasting impression—not just through his vibrant artwork, but through his heart. As a U.S. Army Veteran turned artist, he brings a colorful imagination to life in every brushstroke, balanced with a deeply compassionate spirit. You can feel both strength and gentleness in his presence.

The piece I purchased from Clark is more than just art—it’s JOY in visual form. The colors are serene yet stunning, and every time I look at it, I feel cheerful, uplifted, and overjoyed. It’s like having a piece of happiness hanging on the wall.

But beyond the canvas, Clark is just an all-around super cool and friendly guy. His hospitality, humility, and genuine care for people shine through. You don’t meet many people like him—he’s the kind of human being this world needs more of.

10 stars aren’t enough. Thank you, Clark, for sharing your gift and your heart with the world. From your “New Best Friends” and “Brother and Sister in Arms” ~Melissa and Hector

I’m absolutely blown away by the talent and soul that pours from every canvas this artist touches. Each piece is a visceral expression of passion—colors that speak louder than words, textures that draw you in, and stories that unfold the longer you look. There’s an honesty in his brushwork that’s rare and unforgettable. It’s not just art—it’s emotion captured in paint.
If you’re searching for work that makes you feel something deep, look no further. This artist doesn’t just paint—he translates life into color. Unmissable and deeply moving.

My son is a budding artist. I reached out to Clark Sheppard about getting some guidance for him. Clark was exceptionally gracious, showing my son his works, talking about composition and directing the observer’s eyes. He then offered to look at my son’s art and provided honest feedback with a collaborative style that drew in my son as they worked real time on changes his digital art. Afterwards my son couldn’t stop talking about the experience!! Clark is an accomplished artist driven to give back to the artistic community. Highly recommended checking out his art and meeting him in person to absorb his wisdom!!

Clark is an extraordinary artist out of Sedona whose work is truly out of this world. His paintings burst with vibrant, bold colors that capture not just the eye, but the imagination, too. Each piece radiates energy, emotion, and a deep sense of wonder.

Clark is one of my patients, which means I get to see his incredible art firsthand whenever he brings it in—and it never fails to amaze me. His passion for painting and his joy in sharing his creations with others shine through in everything he does. If you ever have the chance to see his art in person, don’t miss it!

As a musician, I really connect with Clark, and the way he approaches creating art. His whimsical, colorful work feels the way a great song sounds—alive, instinctive, and full of rhythm. The bold palettes and playful compositions move your eye across the canvas like a melody, layered and intentional without ever feeling rigid. There’s a natural flow to his art that makes it feel both spontaneous and deeply considered.

What resonates most is the joy behind it. His pieces don’t feel overworked or overly conceptual—they feel honest. You can tell he creates because he loves to create, and that authenticity comes through in every brushstroke. As someone who shares that same drive to make something from nothing, I see his work as a reminder of why we do this in the first place: for expression, connection, and the simple magic of bringing ideas to life. It’s a joy to get to know this art, and the man who creates it.

Fondly, Gina Leneé, composer/pianist.

We are delighted with Clark's work. He shows a keen appreciation of creation. We love that , in one work in particular, the sky transitions through 3 colors of blue. His red rocks are powerful. Finally, we have witnessed him seeking constructive criticism, an admirable quality in an artist, especially one of his caliber!
Response from the owner:Loraine, thank you so much for your thoughtful words—I truly appreciate them. It means a lot to hear that you connected with the shifting blues in the sky and the strength of the red rocks. I spend a lot of time exploring color transitions and atmosphere, so knowing those details stood out to you is very rewarding. And you’re absolutely right—seeking constructive criticism is part of the journey for me. I’m always learning and refining, and I believe that openness keeps the work growing. I’m grateful you noticed that. Thank you again for your kindness and support. 🎨
