A deposit of 50% is required to begin the painting. The price depends on size, subject, shipping, etc.

Clark is very well-versed in creating a commission with clients remotely. Every effort is made to ensure your satisfaction by encouraging you to be engaged in the creative process through feedback at crucial stages of your commissioned art. First, images are collected to work from. Clark will present you with a sketch (usually via email) and changes made as you deem necessary. After the design is approved, Clark proposes a rough underpainting to you, showing the overall color scheme. You may make alteration suggestions at this time. Based on your valuable input, he will complete the final piece in his style.

He will discuss a general timeline for completion before he begins your project. (Usually about 4 – 6 weeks from the start date). Communication is critical, so Clark asks many questions before he begins. Clark believes this is why he has so many satisfied collectors. His goal is to co-create your unique piece with you as an active participant. Most collectors find this to be an exciting and gratifying experience.
