A Bridge Between Earth, Light, and Memory
Some landscapes quiet you the moment you arrive. Devil’s Bridge is one of those places. Standing atop Sedona’s largest natural arch, you feel both grounded and weightless—balanced between canyon and sky on stone shaped by time.
I painted Devil’s Bridge to capture that sensation. Using fluorescent acrylics let me express not just what I saw on the trail, but what I felt—the hush of the forest, the thrill of stepping onto the arch, and the steady presence of the land beneath your feet.
In daylight, the painting radiates with ember reds, piñon greens, and layered desert textures. Under black light, the scene quietly shifts. The agave in the foreground pulses forward, the trail guides your eye inward, and hidden hearts emerge throughout the landscape—adding depth, dimension, and a subtle sense of discovery.
Collectors often tell me this piece evokes the feeling of hiking the bridge itself. Others say it inspires them to go. Either way, Devil’s Bridge becomes more than just an image—it becomes a shared memory.
Available Formats & Editions
Devil’s Bridge is offered in the following options:
- Original fluorescent acrylic painting (when available)
• Limited Edition Hand-Embellished Giclées (edition of 25)
• Canvas gallery wrap giclées

Each Limited Edition Hand-Embellished Giclée begins as a museum-quality giclée produced at the same size as the original. It then returns to my studio, where I hand-embellish the surface using fluorescent acrylics—adding texture, subtle color shifts, and glowing highlights so each piece carries the presence and energy of an original work.
The Heart of It All
Art lights up the same part of your brain as falling in love—it’s an unforgettable feeling.
Hidden hearts are woven quietly throughout Devil’s Bridge. They aren’t meant to shout; they’re meant to be discovered. I think of them as markers of gratitude—small reminders of the love we carry for places that shape us, and the love the land gives back when we slow down and notice.
This piece is often chosen for gathering spaces—great rooms, entryways, or offices—where it anchors the room without overpowering it, inviting conversation and reflection.
Collector’s Note
Devil’s Bridge pairs naturally with Cathedral Moon—two visions of Sedona stone beneath luminous skies—and complements Sedona’s Hypnotic Earthrise for collectors drawn to elevation, suspension, and quiet power.
My work is also featured at the Village Gallery in Sedona—a Sedona art gallery known for representing only hand-made artwork by local artists, widely regarded as the true heart of Sedona’s art community.
