Sedona’s Red Rock Roadrunner, nicknamed “Morgan,” celebrates the artistry of Kennell and Adler’s sculpture while reimagining it in glowing fluorescent acrylics. With trails to Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, and Castle Rock, it brings Sedona’s humor, color, and Southwest spirit to my Top Nine.
Coyote’s Lunar Serenade vividly captures Sedona’s glowing nights with fluorescent acrylics. The original transforms under black light, creating a 3-D effect, while hidden hearts, a second coyote, and a roadrunner painted by Robert Shields add layers of mystery and playful spirit.
Cathedral Moon grew from a collector’s request to adapt Creekside Cathedral—my first oil painting after a six-year break inspired by a Navajo spirit guide. This moonlit triptych became the best seller of my Cathedral Rock series, radiating Sedona’s mystical light.
